    Church-wide

Enjoying the benefits of marriage is something that takes intentional effort. This class will outline God’s full purpose for your marriage. You will also learn skills that will better equip you to be a godly spouse. We are planning to offer an interactive and intensive class as a follow-up for those wanting to dive deeper.

God established the nation of Israel through the patriarchs – Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob – whose stories are found in Genesis 12-50. This foundational history helps us more fully understand the Bible and deepens our appreciation for the love and faithfulness of God. His covenant with Abraham has been fulfilled in the coming of Jesus, through whom all people on earth have been blessed. Even today, “if we belong to Christ, we are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to the promise” (Gal 3:29). Come grow in your understanding of this important history.

Joe Pauley leads this fall quarter class for the adults titled All to Us, and Mike Gulley will be teaching us the song by the same name. You can listen to All to Us now through this YouTube link.

    ROCKs Ministry

Free event for kids held in the Withamsville Church of Christ parking lot (rain alternative will be in the church building) and featuring Trunk or Treat! Kids should wear their favorite costumes and make the candy rounds in our parking lot. Plenty of “trunks” to visit among the decorated vehicles and costumed participants, who have as much fun as the kids!

We’ll also have free hotdogs, popcorn, chips and water for everyone plus games for the kids. We hope you’ll join us!

Sermon on the Mount: Living the High Life | Study
Wednesday 7:00 pm throughout the school year – God has called us to a different kind of living. Jesus’ sermon on the mount expresses some of these radical ways of the life of a Jesus follower. This study will be focused on how and why we ought to conform our life to the pattern of Christ.
    Teachers: Christian Thompson
    Grades: 6-12

    James: Wisdom Living | Study
Sunday 9:00 am throughout the school year – James, the brother of Jesus and an elder in a congregation of the Lord writes a letter to the churches throughout the known world. In this letter we see James pulling inspiration from Proverbs in the Old Testament as well as themes from the sermon on the mount. James’s purpose is to bring out honest, practical, nuggets of wisdom for us to apply to our everyday life. As we study this book our hope is not only to understand the concepts that James is talking about but to add these wise thoughts to our lives.
Teachers: Christian Thompson and Nathan Daughety
    Grades: 9-12

    Jesus Who? | Study
Sunday 9:00 am throughout the school year -Jesus Who: The question “Who is Jesus?” resonates throughout this course. Students will learn many facts about Jesus but more importantly, they will be challenged to get to know Jesus in a personal and life-changing way. This class is the first step this year into understanding who Jesus is and why He plays such an important role throughout the bible and in my life today.
Teachers: Wes Aubrey and Mark Mason
