    Church-wide

Do you yearn for a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ? We will explore specific steps you can employ to grow closer to the eternal side of YOU and your LORD. This class is based on a book written by Richard J Foster: Celebration of Discipline, The Path to Spiritual Growth.

This class answers several fundamental questions about God’s Plan for us.  It is perfect for new Truth Seekers, who need to hear God’s Plan from beginning to end, so they can understand the big picture. It is also perfect for veteran Truth Seekers, who want to be able to explain God’s Plan to others in a logical way or want to reground themselves in His Plan. It is based on three major pillars:  1) There is a God, 2) The Bible is the inspired Word of God, and 3) Jesus is the Son of God. Held in the Fellowship Hall.

Proverbs is about making godly choices, the kinds of choices in life that bring honor and glory to God, or – as Proverbs would put it – choices that demonstrate “the fear of the LORD” (Prov. 1:7). In this study on the book of Proverbs, we’ll look closely at some of its main themes and learn about godly wisdom.

Donating a portion of your blessings to the church helps its members continue the work happening here at Withamsville and around the world. There are several ways to give: placing cash or check in the box on the communion table, mailing your check to the church, or using a credit or debit card to give online through CCB.

    ENCOURAGE OUR GRADUATING SENIORS
Our church has been blessed with an amazing group of teens, and three of them are graduating this year – Andrew Kacapyr, Evangelina Dongell, and Carly Schardine. Stop by the table in the lobby and write them each a note congratulating and encouraging them on their paths ahead. We would also like you to highlight a favorite verse in the Bibles that they will be presented to remind them of the love and support they have from our church.

    GET INVOLVED WITH OUR YOUTH
If you missed our Wednesday evening discussion about the Winning Our Children to Christ vision initiative, you can learn more about getting involved on our website.

    HAVE YOU UPDATED YOUR INFORMATION?
Your CCB profile helps us contact you about events at the church or volunteer opportunities that fit your interests. You can be sure that you’re in the know by keeping your contact information current. This form is an easy way to update your information or you can do it in person this Sunday at the table outside the auditorium. Contact Cindy Summers at cindy@withamsville.church or call the church office at (513) 752-9819 with any questions.

    WHAT ABOUT PICTURES?
May 22 and May 29, we will have a backdrop set up and someone available to take a new photo for you to use in your CCB profile and in our upcoming photo directory. You don’t need an appointment – just stop by after services on either of those Sundays.

If you cannot join us in person this Sunday, please join through our YouTube livestream.

Thank you for clicking the “like” button in YouTube under each class and sermon. This helps our online outreach to the community be more effective!

    MAY PRAYER FOCUS
Bring all you cares to God in prayer. “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” – Phil 4:4-7

    PRAYER REQUESTS

    • Janice Smith, a friend of the Ferrells, had triple bypass surgery and is now in critical condition.
    • Stuart Combs, a former Withamsville member, asks for prayers for his cousin, Robbie Williams. He suffered a heart attack and is in the hospital in serious condition after requiring two resuscitations.
    • Jason Crossett’s neighbor, Clint Farmer, died suddenly last week. His daughter, Adalynn, is a good friend of Ariel Crossett. Family complications make the father’s passing even more difficult for Adalynn.

Please send prayer requests and other newsletter information to office@withamsville.church or use the prayer request form in CCB.

    Youth Classes
Identity: Who Am I and Who Will I Become? April 3 – May 29
Who am I? What is my purpose? Where do I belong? These are just a few of the types of questions on which our culture seems to be hyper-focused. For grades 9 – 12, taught by Christian Thompson and Frank Overcast.
Timothy: Learning to Run the Race

Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called”-I Timothy 6:12. In this class, we will be looking at Paul’s instruction for Timothy and how it might apply to us today.
