If you prefer, you can also mail your check or donate online.

A few months ago, a huge earthquake hit Haiti and thousands were affected. On Saturday, Sept. 18, Hope For Haiti’s Children is sponsoring a Hands Against Hunger Day at A Child’s Hope International, 9:30 to11:30 a.m., at 2430 E. Kemper Road, Cincinnati (inside McSwain Carpets & Floors building). While there, we will be packing high-protein meals for children in Haiti – hopefully, thousands of meals. This work is sponsored by the Northeast Church of Christ. If you plan to attend, please sign up at and also drop Mike Gulley a note to let him know you’re going. If you cannot go but would like to donate money, give it to Mike and he will make sure it gets to them.

A separate event for Haiti is Hope Gathering Sunday, September 19. This catered lunch at the Northeast Church of Christ is a fundraiser that will teach you more about Haiti and how your financial gift makes a difference in the life of a child. Register at

Adult ClassesThe Heart of Worship, Mike Gulley

Our desire at Withamsville is to be a church that is passionate about pursuing and worshipping God. So how do we worship God? Is it a lifestyle, a worship service, or both? Are we even aware he is present with us? Are we thankful and do we acknowledge what He has done for us through Christ? When worshipping, are we more concerned about what we want to happen, or do we come ready to be transformed to look more and more like Jesus? Join us as we try to discern what is at the heart of this thing called worship.

Children’s Classes – The Gospel Project’s From Creation to Chaos begins this Sunday for our children from nursery to grade 5. All of our grade school kids will study the same lessons in age-appropriate ways in this three-year cycle of learning the Bible from Genesis through Revelation. Children should report to their usual classrooms at 9 a.m.

    Youth ClassesThe Great Rescue Plan
Our focus for this series is to discover God’s amazing plan from the beginning of time to save man. We will see an overview of God’s redemptive plan, how we are saved, and how to look like a follower of Christ. The series follows the structure of the book His Eternal Plan: Becoming a New Testament Christian by Jerry Tallman. High School Teacher – Phillip Taylor. Middle School Teachers – Christian Thompson & Reilly Mahan.

Adult ClassSignificant Others – Understanding Our Non-Christian Neighbors
Our culture is becoming more pluralistic every year, including some of our neighbors. This class covers the religious beliefs of non-Christians around us. Each week will be spent on another world religion, giving us some basic understanding and highlighting points of contact and points of contrast between our Christian faith and these other religions. Join us as we further equip ourselves to “Serve our Neighbors as Missionaries.”

Children’s Classes – Children ages 2 through kindergarten should report directly to their downstairs classroom at 7 p.m., and children in grades 1 through 5 will meet at the pavilion for Running Club, led by Monica Moore and Sara Faison.

Youth Classes – Meet at 6 p.m. for Hangout time. At 7, meet in the Youth House for the class series Acts: Turning the World Upside Down, led by Christian Thompson.
