Core Events

These are tried and true events and have been a part of our annual youth calendar for quite some time. These events are designed to align with our vision as both a youth group and a congregation. We feel these events are foundational in having a good experience with our youth group. Our leaders are passionate about these events and make it a priority for our kids to be in attendance which can include financial scholarships if needed.

Connect Events

These times intend to have fun as a church body and focus on connecting in a healthy safe environment. They may not include a focused study time; however, we aim to create a space of closeness that will help foster and enhance our study time by being more comfortable and open with one another so that we may dive deeper into a relationship with God.

Extra Events

We are very supportive and passionate about involving our church family in the youth group. Bringing people’s interests and hobbies into our ability to reach others in unique ways. These events may be facilitated by church members and not be just a youth group event, but an opportunity to connect even more with others and the body.

2023-24 Studies

Wednesday Study

I AM: A Study of the Gospel of John

The school year we will be taking a look at the life of Christ in the Gospel of John. Throughout this Gospel we see John being very intentional about who Jesus claims to be (Deity) and why or how we can believe those claims. As we go through this letter and see that Jesus is who he says he is we will be asking the question: What am I going to do with Jesus?

The King: A Study in Colossians

The word Christ means anointed one, or in other words King. We must learn to understand that Jesus is not just our savior and frees us of our sins but He is also our Christ, our King, and is deserving of our allegiance. throughout this study, we will be looking at the Epistle to the Colossians to help us understand what it means to have Jesus as our King.

Church 101: Why We Do What We Do

Why do we do the things we do? Oftentimes, we find ourselves practicing the traditions, ceremonies, or sacraments of the church while never understanding why. We want our students to understand the reasons behind some of the things that, we as faith followers of Jesus, practice. This class aims to explain the why we do what we do.
