MEN’S CLASS BEGINS SEPT. 12; WOMEN’S CLASS BEGINS SEPT. 19
The men’s class begins Sunday, Sept. 12 at 5 p.m. and features the series Transformed: Embracing Our True Identity and Purpose. The first meeting for the women will be Sunday, Sept. 19 at 5 p.m., and they will study Priscilla Shirer’s book Gideon: Your Weakness. God’s Strength.
GIVING FROM THE HEART
In 2 Corinthians 9:7, we read “Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” Your contributions support God’s work through our church at Withamsville. The contribution box is on the table where you pick up communion. If you prefer, you can also mail your check or donate online through CCB.

SUNDAY MORNING
Adult Classes
This Sunday will be the final session of the second half of our series on Israel’s Old Testament leaders. Please join Mark Jordan and Keith Baker as they identify these great leaders and highlight key events associated with each.
Children’s Classes
All children’s classes are meeting as normal on Aug. 22. For Homecoming Sunday, the nursery class, the 2-and 3-year-old class, and the 4-year-olds through kindergarten class will meet as usual at 9 a.m. Children in grades 1 through 5 will be with their parents in the auditorium for our special class that day. We will also hold Children’s Bible Hour as usual except that, that the older children will be downstairs.
Youth Classes
High School and Middle School will be meeting together for our summer series “Summer in the Psalms.” For Homecoming Sunday, youth will join the adults in the auditorium.
WEDNESDAY EVENING
Adult Class
God Is . . .
Our Wednesday summer series for adults and youth wraps up this week as Christian Thompson leads us in God Is King. We will meet in the Fellowship Hall at 7 p.m.
Children’s Classes
Children should report directly to their classrooms at 7 p.m., not meeting in the auditorium beforehand.
Youth Classes
Will meet at 6 p.m. for our usual Hangout time. At 7, we will join the adults in the Fellowship Hall for the “God is… ” series. Those who were promoted from the fifth-grade class to the youth group on Sunday, Aug. 22 are considered part of the youth group and will meet in the Fellowship Hall
