FAMILY, FOOD & FELLOWSHIP CHURCH POTLUCK

The church will be providing fried chicken, chicken tenders, and drinks. Click here to sign up for what you want to bring. If you would like to help with set up and organizing, please contact Heather Binning at (513) 630-0169.
GOD LOVES A CHEERFUL GIVER
From 2 Corinthians 9:6-7, we learn that God wants us to give willingly of our abundance and that we should do so cheerfully. When we do, it helps the church continue our work here and around the world. How to give: place cash or check in the contribution box on the communion table, mail your check to the church, or use a credit or debit card to give online through CCB.
BECOMING A CONTAGIOUS CHRISTIAN WORKSHOP
This Sunday is your last week to become part of the Contagious Christian class, which runs through Aug. 14. It’s important to attend as many of the workshop sessions as possible to be successful. This “hands on” class will guide you in ways to share your faith with others. Class size is limited to no more than 15 participants and meets in the Blue Room during Sunday a.m. classes.
HOME GROUPS RETURNING
Home Groups are a way to connect with other Christians to learn more about Jesus and more about your fellow church members. We currently have a few small groups beginning but need more volunteers to serve as leaders. Some groups can accommodate small children. Contact Paul Tucker, Kevin Stewart, or Jim Farley if you are interested in becoming part of a home group.

If you cannot join us in person this Sunday, please join through our YouTube livestream.

SUNDAY MORNING
Adult Classes
John’s Witness to Jesus, Various Teachers – Main Auditorium
John’s Gospel reflects on different aspects of Jesus’s life than those in Matthew, Mark, and Luke. John says that Jesus did many signs in the presence of the disciples, but those which he has included were written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name (John 20:31). Each week, we will review a different narrative from John focusing on chapters1-11, with the aim of deepening our faith in Jesus.
College Age Class –The Book of Ephesians, Mike Gulley’ Office
This book explains how the church comes to full spiritual maturity in Christ. The book describes the good news of what God has done and how it blesses our lives. It instructs us on how to live in light of those blessings and ends with encouragement to stand firm in the face of hardships.
Youth Classes – Like Me. A Journey Through the Commands of Jesus – June 12 through Aug 28
A rabbi invests in those He thinks can be just like Him. Jesus is no different. And He left behind a way to follow Him, to be just like Him, because He believes anyone can. This class looks at several different ways anyone anywhere can follow in the way of Jesus, based on the actual words of Jesus.
Children’s Classes – Our children through grade 5 continue to learn about King Saul with this week’s lesson Saul Sinned And Was Rejected. As an earthly king, Saul thought he knew what was best and disobeyed God. The lesson for this week comes from 1 Samuel 13-15.
WEDNESDAY EVENING
Adult & Youth Class– Dive Into Seeking God
Our Wednesday evening summer series, Dive, continues this week as we Dive Into Seeking God. Last week we focused on meditation to help us seek God. This week, we’ll look at prayer’s role in drawing us closer to God. We’ll also explore new worship music and new friendships as we learn how God helps us know Him more deeply.
Youth Before Class– Meet at 6 p.m. for Hangout time. At 7, join the adults in the Fellowship Hall for the Dive series.
Children’s Classes – Children ages 2 through kindergarten should report directly to the Loft classroom, and children in grades 1 through 5 will meet downstairs in the last classroom on the left. Classes begin at 7 p.m.
