MAY PRAYER FOCUS
Bring all you cares to God in prayer. “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” – Phil 4:4-7

Adult Classes
Spiritual Disciplines, Monty Gillespie, Auditorium Class, April 24 – May 29

OR
His Eternal Plan, Fellowship Hall Class, March 13 – May 29
This class answers several fundamental questions about God’s Plan for us. It is perfect for new Truth Seekers, who need to hear God’s Plan from beginning to end in order to understand the big picture. It is also perfect for veteran Truth Seekers, who want to be able to explain God’s Plan to others in a logical way or want to re-ground themselves in His plan. It is based on three major pillars: 1) There is a God, 2) The Bible is the inspired Word of God, and 3) Jesus is the Son of God.

College Age Class – The Book of Ephesians, Mike Gulley’ Office
This book explains how the church comes to full spiritual maturity in Christ. The book describes the good news of what God has done and how it blesses our lives. It instructs us on how to live in light of those blessings and ends with encouragement to stand firm in the face of hardships.

Youth Classes
Identity: Who Am I and Who Will I Become? April 3 – May 29
Who am I? What is my purpose? Where do I belong? These are just a few of the types of questions on which our culture seems to be hyper-focused. During this time together, we will be diving into many of these questions and understanding God’s perspective of who we are and who we can become. For grades 9 – 12, taught by Christian Thompson and Frank Overcast.

Timothy: Learning to Run the Race
As a young minister, Timothy faced all sorts of challenges. Step by step, Paul patiently instructed him and in doing so instructs us today. He tells us “Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called”-I Timothy 6:12. In this class, we will be looking at Paul’s instruction for Timothy and how it might apply to us today. Taught by Hal Good, this class is for our students in grades 6 – 8.

Children’s Classes – Last week, children through 5th grade learned how God Used Samson, including Samson’s sin and subsequent death, to save the Israelites from their enemies. This week, the lesson shows us God’s desire to redeem all those who belong to Him in God Provided for Ruth. Children’s classes begin at 9 a.m.

WEDNESDAY EVENING
