THE IMPORTANCE OF GENEROSITY
Proverbs 19:17 reads, “Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will repay him for his deed.” Your generosity helps the work of the Lord, through you and other church members, continue. There are several ways for you to give: Put your cash or check in the black contribution box on the communion table, mail your check to the church, or donate online through CCB.

The mystery of where you will have dinner and with whom will be revealed Sunday, Oct. 31. Sign up today through CCB or contact Cindy at office@withamsville.church or 513-752-9819.

SUNDAY MORNING
Adult Classes – The Heart of Worship, Mike Gulley
Our desire at Withamsville is to be a church that is passionate about pursuing and worshipping God. So how do we worship God? Is it a lifestyle, a worship service, or both? Are we even aware he is present with us? Are we thankful and do we acknowledge what He has done for us through Christ? When worshipping, are we more concerned about what we want to happen, or do we come ready to be transformed to look more and more like Jesus? Join us as we try to discern what is at the heart of this thing called worship.

Children’s Classes – Last week, our children from nursery to grade 5 learned what happened when sin entered the world. This week’s class will teach our kids about how sin spread to the people (Genesis 4 – 5). Our key passage phrase for this unit is Romans 3:23, which reminds us that we all make wrong choices sometimes. Children’s classes begin at 9 a.m.

Youth Classes. – The Great Rescue Plan
Our focus for this series is to discover God’s amazing plan from the beginning of time to save man. We will see an overview of God’s redemptive plan, how we are saved, and how to look like a follower of Christ. The series follows the structure of the book His Eternal Plan: Becoming a New Testament Christian by Jerry Tallman. High School Teacher – Phillip Taylor. Middle School Teachers – Christian Thompson & Reilly Mahan.

WEDNESDAY EVENING
Adult Class – Significant Others – Understanding Our Non-Christian Neighbors
Our culture is becoming more pluralistic every year, including some of our neighbors. This class covers the religious beliefs of non-Christians around us. Each week will be spent on another world religion, giving us some basic understanding and highlighting points of contact and points of contrast between our Christian faith and these other religions. Join us as we further equip ourselves to “Serve our Neighbors as Missionaries.”

Children’s Classes – Children ages 2 through kindergarten should report directly to their downstairs classroom at 7 p.m., and children in grades 1 through 5 will meet at the pavilion for Running Club, led by Monica Moore and Sara Faison.

Youth Classes – Meet at 6 p.m. for Hangout time. At 7, meet in the Youth House for the class series Acts: Turning the World Upside Down, led by Christian Thompson.
