FINAL SUNDAY TO PICK UP THANKSGIVING BLESSING BOXES
Please consider having your family fill a Blessing Box to provide a Thanksgiving Dinner to bless another family. Boxes will be available for pickup in the church lobby Sunday. You will receive a list of items to purchase so that each family receives the same amounts and types of food. Boxes must be returned to the church by Wednesday, Nov. 17 for distribution before the holiday.

NATIVITY PLAY PARTICIPATION – CONFIRM BY SUNDAY, NOV. 14
We are reviving the Nativity Play we had planned for last year as part of this year’s Christmas Eve Service. If your children or grandchildren (ages 0 – 6th grade) are interested in being a part of the Nativity, please contact Sara Faison (sara.faison@gmail.com) or Shara Aubrey (sharaaubrey@gmail.com) by Sunday, Nov. 14.

GIVE AS YOU ARE ABLE
Contributions of all amounts are important to maintaining the body and for thanking the Lord for the blessings of your life. “Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord your God which He has given you,” Romans 12:8. You can donate by dropping your cash or check in the contribution box on the communion table, mailing your check to the church, or giving online through CCB. Thank you for your generosity.

SENIOR EXPO ON NOVEMBER 20
Prime Timers who are age 65 or older are invited to Senior Expo 2021 at the Gray Road Church of Christ on Saturday, Nov. 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will be at the church building, 4826 Gray Road in Cincinnati. There is no cost, but registration is required. Call 513-541-4100 to RSVP. The Expo features workshops on topics such as Coping with Grief and Identifying Resources & Avoiding Scams. Humana, the Council on Aging and United Way are among the variety of exhibitors specializing in resources for those over 65. You must register by Nov. 15 and masks will be required at the event.

NOVEMBER PRAYER FOCUS
Pray for God’s blessings on our families as they teach their children to walk in the truth. 3 John 4, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.”

WOMEN’S STUDY GROUP MEETS THIS WEEK
The women’s study group meets Sunday, Nov. 14 at 5 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall as they discuss the lessons from Gideon: Your Weakness. God’s Strength by Priscilla Shirer.

ROCKs events are for children ages 1 through grade 5. Children are encouraged to bring friends to all ROCKs fun activities!

SEEING CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS DEC. 15
Wednesday evening classes for our kids ages 0- 5th grade on Dec. 15 will focus on “Seeing Christ in Christmas.” This special lesson will begin with a video from The Gospel Project followed by singing. Children will be divided into two groups where they will learn the Christian meanings behind familiar Christmas symbols. Each group will learn through hands-on cookie decorating and craft classes. More details and volunteer requests will be coming soon.

SUNDAY MORNING
Adult Classes – Questions Friends Have About Faith
This class explores questions like: How can Christians say there’s only one true faith? Aren’t all religions basically the same? Doesn’t Christianity denigrate women? Isn’t Christianity homophobic? This six-part series will confront these questions and equip us intellectually but also call us to compassion and empathy for those with questions. We must point them to the Light who has come into the world.

Youth Classes. – The Great Rescue Plan
The series follows the structure of the book His Eternal Plan: Becoming a New Testament Christian by Jerry Tallman. High School Teacher – Phillip Taylor. Middle School Teachers – Christian Thompson & Reilly Mahan.

Children’s Classes – God Changed Jacob is the title of this week’s lesson. Children will learn how God would work through Jacob when no circumstances or characteristics made it seem possible. Children’s classes begin at 9 a.m.

WEDNESDAY EVENING
Adult Class –Happy Holidays? A New Perspective! led by Monty Gillespie
This three-class series will investigate a new approach for the holidays, from a spiritual point of view. Come join us to increase your JOY TO THE WORLD!

Youth Classes – Meet at 6 p.m. for Hangout time. At 7, meet in the Youth House for the class series Acts: Turning the World Upside Down, led by Christian Thompson.

Children’s Classes – Children ages 2 through kindergarten should report directly to their downstairs classroom at 7 p.m., and children in grades 1 through 5 will meet at the pavilion for Running Club, led by Monica Moore and Sara Faison.
