BE ON TIME FOR CHURCH – CLOCKS ‘FALL BACK’ THIS WEEKEND
Daylight Saving Time officially ends this Sunday, Nov. 7, at 2 a.m. when the time “falls back” one hour. Enjoy catching up on your sleep!
THANKSGIVING BLESSING BOXES ARE BACK!
Please consider having your family fill a Blessing Box to provide a Thanksgiving Dinner to bless another family. Boxes will be available for pickup in the church lobby Sunday and Nov. 7, 10, and 14. You will be given a list of items to purchase so that each family receives the same amounts and types of food. Boxes must be returned to the church by Nov. 17 for distribution before the holiday.
GIVE AS YOU ARE ABLE
Contributions of all amounts are important to maintaining the body and for thanking the Lord for the blessings of your life. “Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord your God which He has given you,” Romans 12:8. You can donate by dropping your cash or check in the contribution box on the communion table, mailing your check to the church, or giving online through CCB. Thank you for your generosity.
BAPTISM BLESSINGS
We praise the Lord for the three new Christians welcomed recently: Makayla Edwards and Kelly Schutte were baptized on Wednesday, Oct. 27 and Shelby Gregory was baptized following service on Sunday, Oct. 31.

NATIVITY PLAY FOR CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE
We are reviving the Nativity Play we had planned for last year as part of this year’s Christmas Eve Service. If your children or grandchildren (ages 0 – 6th grade) are interested in being a part of the Nativity, please contact Sara Faison (sara.faison@gmail.com) or Shara Aubrey (sharaaubrey@gmail.com). If your child was cast for a part last year, we intend on keeping the parts the same. If your child does not want their old part, please let us know ASAP. We can easily add to our cast for all children who are interested. There are roles as simple as barn animals! This is not a huge time commitment; we will practice December 19 and do a full dress rehearsal on December 22. If you know someone who would like to join the Nativity Play, please let us know by November 14.

SUNDAY MORNING
Adult Classes – Questions Friends Have About Faith
This class explores questions like: How can Christians say there’s only one true faith? Aren’t all religions basically the same? Doesn’t Christianity denigrate women? Isn’t Christianity homophobic? This six-part series will confront these questions and equip us intellectually but also call us to compassion and empathy for those with questions. We must point them to the Light who has come into the world.
Youth Classes. – The Great Rescue Plan
The series follows the structure of the book His Eternal Plan: Becoming a New Testament Christian by Jerry Tallman. High School Teacher – Phillip Taylor. Middle School Teachers – Christian Thompson & Reilly Mahan.
Children’s Classes – This week’s lesson shows us how God loves us and keeps His promise through the story of His blessing to Abraham and Sarah by giving them their son, Isaac, when they were old. Children’s classes begin at 9 a.m.
