THANKSGIVING EVE SERVICE WEDNESDAY, NOV. 23
Everyone is encouraged to attend our special giving thanks service on the evening before Thanksgiving, 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Everyone will be together – no separate classes – as we worship in song and with testimonies to thank God for our many blessings.

CHRISTMAS DEVOTIONS FOR FAMILIES PRAYER AND ACTIVITY BOOK
Prepare your hearts for Christmas with this new resource organized and designed by our Children’s Minister, Michelle Ingland. The book includes Scripture passages, devotional messages, and family activities for each day from Dec. 1 through Christmas. Families of our children in grades 5 and under should pick up their books in the lobby this Sunday. A downloadable copy is available on the church website.  

CUMO CHRISTMAS STORE
Add some extra toys to your shopping list as we will begin collecting items for the CUMO Christmas Store Sunday, Nov. 27 through Wednesday, Dec. 7. The Store allows parents to shop for presents at greatly reduced prices and will be held Saturday, Dec. 10. Details and shopping suggestions can be found on the church website.

YOU COULD BE AN ENCOURAGER!
The Encouragers ministry sends cards to celebrate happy occasions like birthdays and anniversaries and cards to acknowledge sad times like illness or loss of loved ones. If encouragement is one of your talents, please contact Nancy Finley at (513) 470-0702 to become involved. If you’re already a group member, be sure that Nancy has your up-to-date contact information.

SUNDAY EVENING BIBLE STUDY GROUP
Everyone is welcome to attend the Sunday evening Bible study group that meets at the church on Sunday evenings at 6 p.m. in the auditorium. They are currently studying the fruits of the Spirit.

Your financial gifts help the church continue our work here and around the world. You can give by placing cash or check in the contribution box, mailing your check to the church, or giving online through CCB.

NOVEMBER PRAYER FOCUS
Give Him all our thanksgiving for His goodness. “Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!” (Psalm 107:1)

PRAYER REQUESTS   

  • Our Youth Group traveling this weekend for the Fall Retreat at Fort Hill Christian Camp
  • Kayla White’s father has Stage 4 prostate cancer and has recently started chemo treatments
  • Caroline Knight asked for prayers for the family of Eli Jones who died this week as a result of a hit and run accident.
  • Pat Moore’s mother has Covid.
  • Sam Jackson, the husband of Cindy Summers’ lifelong friend, was diagnosed with an aggressive bladder cancer.

Submit requests using the prayer request form, which also goes directly to all of the elders, or email the church at office@withamsville.church.

ROCKs events are for children ages 1 through grade 5. Children are encouraged to bring friends to all ROCKs fun activities!  

Youth Group is for young people in grades 6 through 12. Youth are encouraged to invite friends to participate in studies and activities.

Adult Classes 
Building Stronger Marriages – Fellowship Hall
This class will outline God’s full purpose for your marriage and teach skills to equip you to be a godly spouse.

The Patriarchs – Auditorium
God established the nation of Israel through the patriarchs – Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob – whose stories are found in Genesis 12-50. Come grow in your understanding of this important history.

College and Young Adults Class
For this quarter, the college students and young adults will meet in the Fellowship Hall for the Building Stronger Marriages class.

Youth Classes
JesusWho? Wes Aubrey/Mark Mason – Youth House
For kids in grades 6-8. This class is the first step this year into understanding who Jesus is and why He plays such an important role throughout the Bible and in our lives today.

Wisdom Living James, Christian Thompson/Nathan Daughety – Youth House
For students in grades 9-12. James, the brother of Jesus, writes a letter to the churches throughout the known world. His purpose is to bring out honest, practical, nuggets of wisdom to apply to our everyday lives.

Children’s Classes– Lower-level classrooms, 4-K in the loft
This week’s lesson isGod’s People Were Taken Captive from 2 Chronicles 36.

WEDNESDAY EVENING
